Conflict Mineral Policy
Specialty Engineering Inc. supports the 2010 Dodd-Frank Act and the related U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission rule that promote transparency and consumer awareness regarding the use of Conflict Minerals and seeks to cut direct and indirect funding of armed groups engaged in conflict and human rights abuses in the Conflict Region.
Specialty Engineering Inc. does not directly purchase any Conflict Minerals from any source and does not knowingly procure any Conflict Minerals from the Conflict Region.
Specialty Engineering conducts a quarterly review of component manufacturers to determine their status regarding Conflict Minerals and update our files to show progress toward transparency.
REACH
REACH Compliance
Specialty Engineering Inc. does not directly purchase any substances deemed SVHC under REACH. To the extent that purchased components necessary to the functionality of the products manufactured by Specialty Engineering Inc. may contain SVHCs, the information must come from the component manufacturer.
Due to the changing status of manufacturers with regard to SVHC compliance and continual addition of substances to the list, the degree to which manufactured products are compliant is also changing.
Specialty Engineering performs a quarterly review of component manufacturers status regarding REACH compliance and updates our files to show the current state of each manufacturer.
